Building on the most recent successes at University of British Columbia (SHEL 9; 2015), Brigham Young University (SHEL 8; 2013), and University of Indiana (SHEL 7; 2012), SHEL 10 will be hosted at the University of Kansas, June 2-4, 2017. This 10th anniversary of the conference series will provide scholars the opportunity to share and discuss cutting-edge research on the history of English worldwide. All topics and approaches in the study of the history of the English language are invited. Proposals will undergo review by the Program Committee, whose members are listed below.
