Hello, everyone! My name is Ashley Parker, and I am an editor here at LINGUIST List. I work in many different areas of the site, including Reviews, FYIs, Summer Schools, Internships, Media, Dissertations and Academic Papers, and also our People, Institution, and Program Directories. I started working at LINGUIST List in February 2015, and originally come from Griswold, CT, a small town in Eastern New England. In May of 2014, I graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a BA in English. I am currently a Masters student at Indiana University, working towards a degree in General Linguistics, and have particular academic interests in first language acquisition, word learning and processing, and sociolinguistics. I am so grateful for the opportunity to work at LINGUIST List while I am in school, and to be able to work with so many wonderful scholars who share a common interest--linguistics!
